Did Derrick Rose play last night and did the Bulls win?
Rumors had it that Derrick Rose was feeling fresh and maybe would play against the Nets.
D. Rose was not going easy on the sore foot. He played with at thirst, as if he had something to prove after being out for 4 straight games. The only thing Rose was worried about was dunking, but anything else wasn’t a problem.
Joakim Noah were also back in the lineup for the Bulls. He did his part with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Derrick Rose and Rip Hamilton had a great game too. Hamilton recorded a season-high in points and assists (10) and D. Rose had 22 points and 5 rebounds.
The Bulls had their two starters back, both missed the game against the Bobcats.
Derrick Rose was quoted saying that the injury to his big toe (sprained toe) could be an issue for the rest of the season, by was able to stick with one of the game’s best point guard. He still hopes that he will not miss any more games.
The Bulls dominated the Nets with 110 to 95 – but this is not a picture of health for the Bulls. The team is still very injury-depleted and it will be a test of strength with the schedule after the lockout.
The Bulls play the Pacers on 25th of January.
Note: Rip Hamilton recorded 15.000 career points.
