Monae Walker was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduated from Brookwood High School in 2004. Shortly after graduation she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue a career in modeling. Throughout her modeling career she has graced many editorial pages such as Essence magazine and Sister to Sister. You may also find Monae on billboards featured with superstars Ludacris and Tommy Lee for a nationwide campaign.She’s been on screen with mainstream artists such as The Dream, R. Kelly, Young Jeezy and many others. She has been blessed to be the spokesmodel for multiple companies such as Sophisticates Black Hair, Nuvo, Hennessy, and Courvosier. You may also recognize Monae featured on BET hit shows, The Game, Let’s Stay Together and Sunday Best. Keep a look out for her in Tyler Perry’s up and coming film “Good Deeds” coming to theaters in the summer of 2012. Although constantly busy, Monae stays involved in the community mentoring young teens on finding their own path to success. Monae can be described as intelligent and sophisticated, but a country girl at heart. You would never believe the slender, 5’9 model is also the proud mother of two beautiful boys, Isaiah and Lucas. She currently attends Georgia State University where she is pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism. Lookout for Monae, she is the face you will be seeing a lot of sooner than later!
