So, summer in Chicago has officially phased into a stage when, apart from gaining big satisfaction from sun bath, you start to fret about how the blazing sunshine is getting excessive. It’s sizzling! Yet, it’s our call to dress light and soft to defy the high temperature. Well, although black is always taken as a safe choice, its usage should be downplayed in the summer, simply because it seems less dynamic and a little bit stifling in the hot weather.
Contrary to dark shades, light colors become the darling for summer… effortlessly for the sake of a brisk, cool and romantic state of being. I certainly fell for the charm of it, and the consequence? The damage to my pocket for stuffing my closet with those light fabrics!
FYI, a host of fashion shows and summer sales are going on in the town at this time, there’s no better chance to spend less for more and get an eyeful of the beauty of fashion. ♥
